Our beauty obsession: Lip gloss named after rock ‘n’ roll songs

Theo Kogan is a rock star, model and mommy who ventured into the beauty world to create an amazing gloss that would stay on during her hardcore rock performances. Theo names all of her products with a reference to a band, song or a legend. How fabulous is that? Here are a couple of her lip glosses we instantly wanted for ourselves. They’re fun and cute with a rock star appeal. Each Armour Beauty lip gloss is $21, paraben-free and has never been tested on animals.

Our fave glosses named after some of Theo’s favorite songs

Smells like vanilla and grapefruit, looks like midnight! Named after the Velvet Underground song, Femme Fatale is the perfect rock ‘n’ roll lip gloss! Perfect for girls on the go making moves all day long!

Get in tune with your Foxy side by using this rich chocolate gloss! With enough power to go on like a lipstick, Foxy is definitely as legendary as the Jimi Hendrix song “Foxy Lady.”

If the name doesn’t give it away, After Hours is the perfect ode to staying out all night and the awesome song by Caribou. Shimmery and highly pigmented, this lip gloss is the perfect choice for a girls’ night out.

Cute glosses named after legends who rock

This sparkle-filled gloss is rightfully named after Marilyn Monroe. This is the perfect translucent shimmer that can be used as a top coat for any of the Armour Beauty lip glosses or by itself for everyday outings.

Our SK University interns got ahold of these two glosses and fell in love!

Seen here: Siouxsie lip gloss

The verdict is in and the Siouxsie gloss is simply red hot! Named after punk legend Siouxsie Sioux of Siouxsie And The Banshees/The Creatures, it is sure to be a show-stopping touch to any outfit. This lip gloss would be perfect on the days you want to make a loud and bold fashion statement! We loved how it went on smooth like a gloss yet looked as powerful as a lipstick.

Seen here: Divine lip gloss

Everything that is pink is definitely a winner, even in the world of films! We can’t get enough of the Divine lip gloss just as much as we can’t get enough of the drag queen Divine who starred in the films by John Waters. Add this touch of pink greatness to any outfit! It’s soft enough to be an everyday gloss and pink enough to still be noticed.
