Sarah Jessica Parker’s favorite pair of wedge sneakers

Sarah Jessica Parker spent a good part of her career teetering around Manhattan in her sky-high Manolo Blahnik heels. These days? She’s all about upping her hipster cred with her Koolaburra Preston Wedge Sneakers ($219).

The actress has been spotted wearing the 2.5-inch hidden-wedge-heel sneakers multiple times over the past month — and she’s got them in several colors, too.

And we totally get her obsession: The wedges give the actress some height without putting too much pressure on the balls of her feet. Plus, she’s still complying with her doctor’s orders — he banned her from wearing heels all the time after she hurt her ankle on the set of 2011’s I Don’t Know How She Does It.

“I went to a foot doctor and he said, ‘Your foot does things it shouldn’t be able to do,’ That bone there…. You’ve created that bone. It doesn’t belong there,’” she told Net-a-Porter’s retail magazine of her damaged feet. “The moral of the story is, the chickens are coming home to roost.”

She’s still able to sport heels for special occasions, but these days, she’s auctioning them off instead of wearing them. The actress donated three sets of heels — Prada platforms, Dolce Vita pumps and Jonathan Kelsey sandals — to raise money for the LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts in New York City.

And when she does wear heels? She’s only wearing Manolos — and her Koolaburras, of course! We might not be able to drop the cash on the designer stilettos, but her wedge sneakers of choice are much more affordable — and totally adorable.
