5 Simple ways to rid your body of cellulite

Body advice from a Bachelorette

With summer right around the corner, I am sure we’re all fretting about our body image. No one wants cellulite and everyone thinks there is no actual trick to get rid of it. Guess again! There are ways to prevent and dispose of this annoying skin flaw, and you have plenty of time to get yourself there. Kick cellulite to the curb and kick-start your summer with these helpful suggestions.

Say ‘see you later’ to cellulite just in time for bathing suit season with these helpful tips and tricks!

1

Drink water!

The best, natural way to smooth out your skin is simply through hydration… not to mention, it’s free! One of my favorite products that I have on hand with me throughout the drying summer days is Evian Mineral Water Spray ($11). You can get this product in a “to-go” size, perfect for your purse! Spray the product not only on your face, but on your entire body to prevent dry skin and unwanted cellulite.

2

Invest in your skin

Often creams can be pricey, but that’s because, more times than not, they work. The better quality the product, the more it’s going to cost you. Instead of buying those heels you have your eye on, invest in a great body moisturizer. Try my personal favorite, Kiehl’s Creme De Corps. It comes in a variety of sizes for every price point. Not only does this body cream pack your skin with essential moisture, it also leaves your skin looking shiny and smooth, perfect for summer attire! Another moisturizer that is great, but for a fraction of the cost, is Aveeno’s Positively Radiant moisturizer, available at any drug store.

3

Find a cellulite cream that actually works

After trying quite a few cellulite products, I have to give a shout out to Adonia Leg Tone. For rapid results you can see instantly, try this 100 percent organic product. Apply once, and then reapply nine minutes later and see the results for yourself. Adonia Leg Tone not only works instantly, but over time, completely gets rid of your cellulite. My fellow Bachelor castmates and I were very grateful for this product considering we were in bathing suits 90 percent of the time! This product is also very popular with the Dancing With The Stars cast. Another trick to help stop cellulite? Massage the areas in which it is visible. While in the shower, massage your thighs and remember to exfoliate to fully gain the benefits from your moisturizers and cellulite creams. Exfoliation opens up our pores, allowing our skin to absorb the product in a more efficient way.

4

If you can’t tone it, tan it!

But, make sure to do it in a safe way. The sun will only give you instant gratification, and while we all want that bronzed, sun-kissed glow, harmful UV rays will age us more than any other vice. Try Adonia Bronzing Collection. The bronzing collection is 100 percent organic and safe for even the most sensitive skin types. This self-tanner will leave you with an even, natural looking glow. While most self-tanners leave you streaky, this product goes on easy and evenly. This is by far the best self-tanner I have ever used.

5

Diet and exercise!

Finally, the most important thing you can do to prevent and correct cellulite is eat a balanced diet and exercise. This doesn’t mean you have to starve yourself or only eat “boring” foods, but try to load up on greens such as kale, spinach and celery which are natural diuretics and skin detoxifiers. If you need a boost to start your eating habits off right, try Ritual Cleanse. Unlike most, this cleanse offers you the right amount of calories through juicing. You won’t feel hunger pangs or get lightheaded throughout your experience. The purpose of this cleanse is to clean your system and prevent you from craving junk food in the future. After this simple, three day cleanse, the only foods you will be craving are fruits and vegetables!
