Whether it’s on the red carpet, backstage or on set, my clients want to know what products their favorite celebrities are using. So I have included some of my old favorites and a few new ones that I have proudly introduced to my makeup and grooming kit!
On their lips
Embryolisse is on everyone’s lips. Literally! This French brand is a staple in many a makeup kit and on dressing tables of celebs such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Scarlett Johansson and Demi Moore. One standout product is their classic Lait-Crème Concentre, $28, an amazing moisturizer for all skin types that provides the perfect base for ANY foundation or concealer. My new favorite is their Baume Secours, $22, essential dry skin balm with apricot and almond oil which is great anywhere but especially on the lips!
On their face
For years, professional makeup artists on the sets of The Glee Project and American Idol, photographers, celebrities and brides (don’t forget grooms too!) have sworn by and trusted OC8 Professional Mattifying Gel, $28, to reduce shine, even skin tone and control oil up to eight hours! It keeps you red carpet ready even under the hottest lights or in the stickiest situations. Dab a little on over moisturizer and under oil-free makeup and you are “set!”
Skin Authority knows a thing or two about skin. Stars on Glee and Emily Proctor and Mario Lopez are fans and it shows! Using the highest concentration of natural ingredients without parabens, dyes or fragrance makes this brand a must-have in the makeup trailer or in your home. My new favorite is Wrinkle Reversing Serum, $139, that plumps and fills in the deepest wrinkles.
On their teeth
How do you and your favorite stars keep those pearly whites looking their best? Well, by using Rembrandt Intense Stain Dissolving Strips, $25. These strips effectively remove stains from red wine, tea, coffee and from smoking. Teeth will look noticeably whiter within two weeks when used twice daily.
