Heavy traffic, no parking, long lines, fierce crowds — it doesn’t sound like the ideal way to spend your Friday, but millions of people do it every year on the day after Thanksgiving. And the shopping doesn’t end with Black Friday. Just two days later is Cyber Monday.

Cyber Monday debuted in 2005 on the Monday after Thanksgiving with retailers tempting shoppers to shop online with big deals. Now, however, there’s no clear separation between Black Friday and Cyber Monday anymore.
